The Traveling Professor just got back from a 2-week tour with 9 travelers. After a short stint in Rome, we spent 5 days and 4 nights on the wonderful Amalfi Coast. There is plenty to see and do on the Amalfi Coast and there is also time to relax and enjoy the sun. In this blog post I will give you some ideas to make the most of a tour to the Amalfi Coast.
The Traveling Professor will be leading a small group tour to the Amalfi Coast and Italy next week. As part of that tour to Italy we spend 4 nights in Sorrento as a base to visiting the Amalfi Coast. Then we go up to Florence for a few days at the spacious and centrally located Guelfo Bianco, just steps away from Michelangelo's David. And if that's not enough, we have a TOP hotel for you in Venice on an optional 4-day extension. Read more to get the details on The Traveling Professor's luxury tour to Italy.

We have a small group of 11 travelers enjoying the Amalfi Coast this minute! Our tours of Amalfi, Sorrento, Ravello, and Positano have been nothing short of spectacular. And let's not even mention those authentic lunches high in the hills of the Amalfi Coast. They are without question, some of the best meals I have ever had with scenery that is unmatched anywhere. In the blog post I have put a link to my FB page where you can see the photos and video of our trip.
For quite some time I have been resisting adding a small group tour to the Amalfi Coast. I wasn't sure if an Amalfi Coast tour really lent itself to the small group tour concept. But after studying and doing some research, I think we have come up with a terrific option for a small group tour of the Amalfi Coast. We'll start off in Rome, visit Herculaneum and Pompeii before moving on to Sorrento. The next day we'll visit Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. The following day is a tour to Capri. On the last day we relax in Sorrento before heading back to Rome. Read the blog post to find out more about our small group tour to the Amalfi Coast.
