Catch the Highlights with Amazing Scenery and Food

Most people start their tour to Italy in Rome.   From there, they take the train down to Naples for transfer to Sorrento.  Here is my suggestion for a 5 day tour to the Amalfi Coast:  

  • Day 1:  Arrive in Sorrento via high-speed luxury train and private limo.  Check into hotel in the center of this seaside resort town.  
  • Day 2:    Visit Positano, Amalfi, and the hilltops of Ravello via private limo.   There is plenty of time to enjoy the dramatic Italian coast.  Savor a lunch  on the stunning seaside cliffs of the Amalfi Coast.
  • Day 3: It’s living life southern Italian style.  Enjoy a  in charming Sorrento or join one a programmed tours.  
  • Day 4:  Catch the hydrofoil for a wonderful day on Capri.   Hop on for a boat tour of the island to view the stunning coast and famous grottos.  There is plenty of time to enjoy a café on your own, stroll the idyllic coastal island, and return to Sorrento on your own schedule.
  • Day 5: A private tour of Pompeii followed by a delicious lunch on a mountainside winery on Mount Vesuvius called Il Cantina del Vesuvio.    Plan to arrive back  in Rome in the early evening.
