Dreams come true with a luxury trip to the scenic Amalfi Coast and Renaissance Florence.   Join The Traveling Professor for an exciting journey to the best of Italy.   Start off in one of the most luxurious hotels in all of Europe and finish in a top-rated hotel in the historic center of Florence.   The Professor takes care of all the details to ensure the trip of a lifetime.

Perfect for couples, solo travelers, friends traveling together, mother/daughter, or sisters on a holiday.   The only reason you will want to go home is to tell everyone what a great time you had.

Included on Your Trip:
  • 4 Nights in Amalfi, 3 Nights in Florence:   On the Amalfi Coast, enjoy the 5-star seaside Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria, set upon 5 acres along the Neopolitan Riviera. The Guelfo Bianco is consistently ranked as one of the top hotels, in the heart of Florence.  Large and luxurious rooms are exquisitely decorated.
  • Personal Limo Pick-Up at the Airport.  Regardless of arrival time, be greeted by a driver at the Naples airport or train station for transfer directly to the door of the hotel for check-in.  How easy is that?
  • Champagne Welcome.  Get to know your traveling companions upon arrival.
  • In Florence our professional guide lets you in on some of the secrets of this Renaissance city.  Florence offers shopping, the opera, cooking classes, artisans, craftsmen, markets, museums, and some of the best people-watching in Europe.
  • Amalfi Coast Private Driving Tour.  In our luxury limo, drive the stunning coast stopping at scenic vistas on the way to the hilltop town of Ravello.  Enjoy a relaxing lunch overlooking the seaside village of Positano.
  • A Day in Capri.    A 20 minute cruise brings us to the blue waters of Capri.  We’ll have an exclusive museum tour with the rest of the day at your leisure.
  • Small group size limited to 10-14 travelers.  Move around the city quickly and efficiently.  Visit places big tour groups can’t get to. Dine at intimate and authentic restaurants.   Small group size allows for a flexible and personalized itinerary.
  • Professional Tour Guide Services.    Professional, licensed guide services separate The Professor’s tours from the rest.  Our guides are knowledgeable, engaging, and maximize the tour experience.
  • Personalized, attentive service.  Your professional guide takes care of the details, serving as the group’s private concierge.  The Traveling Professor is available to answer questions, guide your stay, and to offer personal advice on everything from dining to touring to shopping.
  • Flexibility.  Each day we follow a well-planned itinerary based upon what YOU want to see.  And, if you wish to skip the daily itinerary - no problem!  We can help in planning a delightful day on your own.
  • Meals:  All breakfasts are included as well as lunch at dramatic cliff-side fattoria in Positano.  We don’t include dinners because of various dietary requirements travelers have these days.  Who wants to be told what to eat and when to eat, anyway?   We do set up group dinners every night if you wish to join us, and about half the group usually does.
  • What Else is Included?  All local transportation in Italy.  VIP admission to top museums, even those not on the itinerary.  We handle ALL the details.  All you need to do is enjoy a luxury Italian vacation.
  • Best of All – The cost is only $3,699 per person, double occupancy.   For a single room, add $1,199.  It’s a great value for the quality of hotels and services provided.  Add $200 per person (double occupancy) or $400 (single occupancy) for a sea view room in Sorrento.
  • Venice and Rome Add-On Available - Add 3 nights in Rome before the tour and/or 3 nights in romantic Venice after the tour.
