The Traveling Professor has been visiting on his small group tours to Croatia and we have a trip scheduled for this year and 2 for 2019.  Located on the Adriatic Sea, I expected the food to be more Italian than Mediterranean, and I was wrong.  The coastline is staggeringly beautiful, the cities are ancient and exciting.  We found the people to be incredibly warm and welcoming.
