On our small group tours, women overwhelmingly make up the bulk of my groups. While I can attest to the joy of traveling alone, there are some special precautions that need to be taken. I used to travel alone, especially to Paris, quite a bit. I loved the freedom of not being tethered to a schedule and go wherever my legs would take me.
