In September, The Traveling Professor did an inaugural tour to Scotland. We did this as a small group tour to Scotland with 10 travelers. One of the biggest surprises we had is how beautiful the Scottish Highlands are, and that the best way to see them is by scenic rail. Early in September we did our inaugural small group tour to Scotland. We traveled with 10 active adult travelers to Edinburgh, down to the Borders area, up to the Highlands and finished up in Glasgow. We covered quite a bit of ground by train, ferry, and small van.
