The Traveling Professor's Guide to Paris by me, Professor Stephen Solosky, was first published in 2009.  To my great surprise, it was purchased by thousands of people.  The success of the book launched my small group tours to Paris business.  Since the publication of the first book, I have traveled to Paris over 20 times.  I have led many group tours to Paris.  I have learned much and it is all incorporated into the 2nd Edition of The Traveling Professor's Guide to Paris which came out earlier this year.   For details on what's in the book and how to get an autographed copy, see the blog post.

The Traveling Professor's Guide to Paris, 2nd Edition is expected to be available this month.  My first book came out in 2009 and I am excited to bring readers some great updates and new features in the new edition, keeping the theme and content of that made the original book the smashing success that it was.   Travelers to Paris loved my book and I am sure they will enjoy the new edition of The Traveling Professor's Guide to Paris too.  In the blog post I have described what's new in the 2nd edition  and how you can get a copy at a discounted price.

It seems that everyone wants to be like The Traveling Professor.   I introduced my concise book, "The Traveling Professor's Guide to Paris" in 2009, now I see people like Rick Steve's doing "pocket" editions of his books.    I started with a "small group tour" concept and now I see other tour companies like Intrepid and Overseas Adventure Tours trying to do the same thing by offering small group tours.   However, I think I still offer something these big, impersonal tour operators can't do and I write books that are not for everyone, but they are probably for you.
