People are traveling more and more.  The economy is good, travel is relatively cheap.  In this blog post the Professor explains his favorites for 2020.

Canada:  For Americans, Canada is a great bargain due to the strong dollar.  On top of it, there is no jet leg involved in flying up north.  Montreal is a delight, just about any time of the year.  We like it off-season when the crowds are gone and the deals are good. Quebec City has that European feel to it, sometimes even more, than many cities across the Atlantic.

Croatia:  The Professor advises going there until you can't do it anymore because of the crowds.  Prices are still good and the weather is good from May until the end of October. It can be a little difficult to get flights there, but it's worth the trip.

Norway:  Too expensive?  Not anymore. When we first went in 2014 we were getting about 6 Norwegian kroner to the US dollar. Now the dollar is worth almost 50% more.  It's nice and cool in the summer too and not overcrowded.  Try it.

Normandy Invasion Beaches:  This is always one of The Professor's top destinations. The 75th anniversary of the landings is over, so there should be less crowds.

Peru and the Amazon:  The biggest misconception about this destination is that people think they will be "roughing it".  No way! Hotels are as good as anywhere and the food is even better.  Go!
