Here is The Traveling Professor's small group cruise and land tour to Croatia trip report:

The Group:  We traveled with 30 active adult travelers, the most we have ever traveled with.  We chartered an entire ship which ensured that we had a friendly group we were all familiar with. On our guided tours, we split the group in two, so we had two small groups of 15 persons.  Half of the travelers had traveled with The Traveling Professor before.  75% of the group were women travelers many of them traveling in single cabins or with friends.

The Ship:  The Aquamarin is a luxury ship.  No tight quarters here.  There was more than enough room on the decks for all passengers.  The most common remark I got from travelers is that they could not believe how much more room they got in their cabins than they thought they would.  Each cabin had a large double bed or single bed.  Bathrooms were more than adequate. Land Tour Highlights:  Zagreb is a historic as well as lived-in city.  Friendlier people could not be found.  Food was great and the attractions were terrific.  We were surprised that everyone spoke English in the clean, progressive city.

Cruise Highlights:  Almost each day the ship stopped so we could swim off the back. There is nothing like a warm dip in the Adriatic Sea.  There was plenty of space to roam on the ship as we cruised about calm seas during the day.  We island-hopped all over Croatia to Hvar, Trstenik, Bol, Mlet, and Korcula and we also stopped in the port of Dubrovnik for 2 nights.  The trip started and ended in Split.  Charming is not a strong enough word to describe the ports in Hvar, Trstenik, Mljet, Korcula and Bol.  Our favorite stop may have been in Trstenik where we had a private and authentic dinner in a konoba (Croatian Tavern).

The Weather:  It was in the mid-70's to low 80's during the day.  About 10 degrees cooler at night.
