Here is The Professor's list of places to visit that don't exist:

Juliet's House:  Verona is a beautiful place and there is a beautiful balcony that is constantly crowded with visitors.  The problem is, Juliet never lived there.

Loch Ness Monster:  Thousands of people go to Loch Ness every year for a sighting of "Nessie".  On The Traveling Professor tours we even take a sonar-equipped ship to find the beast.  The problem is, there is no monster - except maybe for those who have had a wee dram or two from the ship's bar.

Columbus Final Resting Place:  One of the most beautiful cities in Spain, Seville is a city of legends, tapas, and culture.  Many go to the cathedral to see the tomb of Columbus.  But many question whether he is really buried there.

Bastille in Paris: Many people ask us to take us to the Bastille in Paris on one of The Traveling Professor's small group tours to Paris. But alas, the prison is long gone and all that is in its place is a memorial.

Westminster Abbey, London:  People go here to see where Shakespeare, C.S. Lewis, Diana, the Princess of Wales, T. S. Eliot, Lewis Carroll (Alice in Wonderland) and the places they are buried.  None of them are buried here.

London:  No one knows who Jack the Ripper really was, but there are plenty of people who will take you on a walk to where he committed the infamous crimes.
