Planning a tour to Iceland on your own can be expensive.  However, who wants to go on one of those 40 person big bus tours to save money? The Traveling Professor has put together an exclusive small group tour to Iceland at a bargain price that gives all the features of those luxury tours.

We've put together an exclusive tour to Iceland with only 10-14 active adult travelers.  We travel on our own schedule and go where we want to go.  On EVERY trip we have done, not only do we see the sights everyone wants to see, we visit off the beaten path waterfalls, hidden beaches, and uncover new discoveries you simply cannot get on those big bus tours.  We go to those places you could not find on your own.

We travel in a luxury van, with wi-fi, our guide is a professional, licensed guide who The Traveling Professor can guarantee is one of the best guides to be found in Iceland.

Here are the details:

Start Date:  September 18, 2019

End Date: September 22, 2019

Hotel:  Hotel Holt, Reykjavik.

Number of Travelers: 10-14

Here is the planned itinerary:

Wednesday, September 18:  Arrival in Reykjavik.  After getting some rest, let's get together, do an informal walk of Reyjkavik, and go out to dinner.

Thursday, September 19:  Our luxury van will pick us up for a tour of the South Coast.  We venture out to the majestic countryside of Iceland where we will see the spectacular national park, crystal clear lakes, waterfalls and unbelievable geological formations that separate Europe from North America.  See bread baked the geothermal way too!  We'll make some surprise stops too.

Friday, September 20:  Let's do a guided walking tour of Reykjavik followed by some free time in this fascinating city.  If the Parliament is not in session, we can get an exclusive tour of the Parliament building.  Try finding that on another tour.  And if you wish, there are opportunities for whale watching and other outdoor activities.

Saturday, September 21:  It's The Professor's favorite - the South Coast.  Absolutely spectacular (and secret) waterfalls, a great big volcano, walk on the glacier, black sand beaches and a lot more.  Again, our small group gets us to places you simply cannot find on your own or places those big busses can't take you.

Sunday, September 22:  Get past the basics and get the PREMIUM treatment at the Blue Lagoon. We spend plenty of time at the Blue Lagoon so you are nice and relaxed for your flight home.

This exclusive small group tour to Iceland is offered by The Traveling Professor.
