J.K. Place. Piazza di Santa Maria Novella, 7. Luxury.
A luxurious gem of Firenze living, J.K. Place creates the feel of an elegant home for an intimate feel, rather than a hotel lobby and dining rooms.  Instead of a front desk, the staff is always available in the library and dining spaces to assist guests.  The 20 rooms are equally as pristine, with mostly cream and grey decor, the colors of most buildings around the city.  With most amenities included (breakfast, snacks, and drinks during the day), there are suites and family rooms.  We would suggest the black and white lounge for lunch and the champagne bar nook for a drink.  The options are endless for feel in this hotel, don’t miss savoring their spongy tiramisu out on the street deck in the midst of Santa Maria Novella.

Palazzo Castri 1874. Piazza della Indipendenza, 7. Luxury.
Looking to spend some spa time in Florence?  Palazzo Castri 1874 houses a luxury spa, complete with a Finnish Sauna and hammam, and the hydromassage pool.  To be better enjoyed in the spring, summer, and autumn due to the beautiful garden that the pool spills into, the spa can seem a little small but is by reservation only to control guests’ use.  Remember to book spa timings in advance to ensure the best times of day, especially after a long day of sightseeing.  The hotel rooms themselves are the usual, crisp white linens with detail lightings in the bathroom - thus suggesting to pick Palazzo Castri 1874 for guests planning to indulge at the spa.  Breakfast is also full of cakes and even honey to scoop right from the honeycomb.

SoprArno. Via Maggio 35. Luxury.
For the classy, romantic hipster, SoprArno is an awesome place to stay.  Why is this?  Because this is the hotel where one can bathe in a lion-footed tub right in the bedroom, making the nights as relaxing and intimate as the days are active and packed.  The owners’ artistic style fills the B&B; the company duo, Betty Soldi (a calligrapher and paper artist) and Matteo Perduca (an antique curator), is one in a million in Florence.  Even their lounge area and breakfast room have been doted upon by old subway signs, greying mirrors, antique armchairs, and vintage books.  The street location is tucked away enough that it is a place to go back to at night for some luxurious peace.  We would suggest this residence for young couples and their sister hotel in a private mansion AdAstra for a romantic getaway.
