Let's face it, in the United States, the Best Western hotel chain is not held in high regard.   But in Europe, especially Paris, these hotels demonstrate quality and service.  Many are individually owned which in my opinion, are the best places to stay.  My point is, I would not hesitate for one minute to stay in a Best Western branded hotel in Paris.

Best Western Anjou Lafayette:  Madame Bailly warmly welcomed us for our stay.  She owns and runs the 3-star hotel with about 40 rooms.  The amount of care and thoughtfulness displayed by her and her staff impressed us the most, as well as the stylish decoration of the hotel.

Best Western Ronceray Opera:
This is the place to be if you want to be in the middle of all the action.  In fact, it is physically right in the middle of Paris. Located on Grands Boulevards, the transportation connections are some of the best in Paris.  It is close to everything.  It is the biggest hotel we stayed at (for 2 nights) but we felt well-cared for by the staff.

Best Western Montcalm:   Beautifully decorated, quiet, and a close by metro connection impressed me about this 3-star hotel. It is in the 15th arrondissement and we loved the local lunch spots, cafes and shopping.  The hotel itself has a relaxing garden and a separate building perfect for a family or small group.  We loved it!
