I really enjoyed the small group experience with The Traveling Professor tours. I would like to travel again but can't make 2018. Having a small group I made friends and the trip was more enjoyable with the camaraderie plus the personal attention by Steve & Linda.

I prefer off season travel, even Jan - Mar or Nov and Dec. But I do like better accommodations like 3 or 4 star hotels.
5/22/2017 6:35 AM

I recommend a trip to Greece in 2018, and a trip to Sicily and maybe Puglia in 2019.
5/22/2017 1:38 AM

I rather have my money invested in the tours. I am usually not concerned about the accomadations as long as they are in a good location (i.e. central to the sites).
5/22/2017 12:05 AM

How about cooking classes?
5/21/2017 3:44 PM

Greece, Greece, Greece in 2018 and Sicily and Puglia in 2019

Wished I could have gone on one of your trips this year; but ended up with other obligations on the available dates. I ended up booking the Galapagos Islands!

I like the idea that you encourage solo travelers. Hard to find good solo traveling tours.
5/21/2017 2:30 AM

I really respect Steve and Linda's details, how prepared they are, their personal style. I like Steve's details prior to a trip......truly a positive experience and enjoy traveling with them both.

5/20/2017 11:25 PM

Although I have as yet not taken one of your tours I find them fascinating. It seems a lot of thought was put into the itineraries with many interesting options.

Your tours rock! I really hope you're going to Greece including the islands next year, because I'd love to go with you. Since we last spoke I went on a tour of Germany, Switzerland and Austria and stayed on in Vienna a few days; Costs Rica; China including Tibet; and I'm going to northern India and Nepal in November.

When we travel we stay in a place for four or more nights. In the past we have been to Paris twice - the first time for 12 days and the second time for 10 days - and would love to return. We have taken driving holidays in south east France and northen Italy. Are considering a trip to Portugal and Spain.

Calendar in grid format will be great; for example, I'd like to pull up, say, 2nd week of Aug and see what the offerings are vs go thru each and figure dates
5/19/2017 8:42 PM

Single supplements remain a costly problem when traveling alone
5/19/2017 3:54 PM

Question 8: depends on whether you need double occupancy
5/19/2017 3:42 PM

I remember liking your site and many things about it but at the moment so I I have no recommendations

5/19/2017 3:10 PM

I have the same problem. that is I work Mon & Wed. The Paris trip nearly killed me physically. Do all your trips have to be geared to the young and physically fit. I had one knee replaced.
5/19/2017 2:15 PM

Our recent tour to Ireland exceeded expectations (which were already high!). Organization (including local guides), quality of hotels and food, variety of activities, outstanding driver/guide, friendly group. Perfect!

5/19/2017 12:31 PM

We've taken a Traveling Professor tour to Italy and it was wonderful. We would love to book again, however, the costs have risen making it difficult for those of us on a fixed income. We've taken a TP tour to Italy and it was fabulous-would love to go
again.

Great info on the site and on Facebook
5/19/2017 12:22 PM

5/19/2017 10:01 AM

As an older traveler, I would love to go on one of your tour, but I do need luggage carried and prefer small hotels with only one flight of stairs.
5/19/2017 9:55 AM

5/19/2017 9:54 AM

We experienced a wonderful trip to Peru with The Traveling Professsor a few years ago. I highly recommend his company to others. We were a part of a private group of 10 people that we had put together. It was well organized, the accommodations were great, the guides were superb. I have looked at several of Steve's blogs on his website. I found them to be interesting and informative. I hope to be able to travel with The Traveling Professor again in the near future.
5/19/2017 9:40 AM

Would like to see further theme related tours like food, historic, wine areas, etc
5/19/2017 9:39 AM

Keep up the good work!
5/19/2017 9:39 AM

As my travel is more determined by when my boss lets me travel rather than me choosing dates, it would be good if yout website also listed all available tours by date order not just listed by tour and then dates that tour runs. I hope you understand what i mean!
5/19/2017 9:36 AM

I prefer tours that stay at least 2 or more nights in one place.
5/19/2017 9:35 AM

Your trips, as described, are of interest to me.

5/19/2017 9:32 AM

The Iceland tour we took was so much fun we really didn't mind that the weather didn't cooperate. Very informal group and everything taken care of for us can't wait to go on another trip
5/19/2017 9:09 AM

5/19/2017 9:02 AM

I would love to go on a Traveling Professor tour but, so far, they have been too expensive for my budget.

5/19/2017 9:01 AM

I look forward to taking one of your tours.
5/19/2017 9:00 AM

I like your blog, especially tips for saving money or making travel smoother. I travel a lot with my husband, or occasionally solo, and typically wouldn't consider a group tour, but might do it to a place my husband would't want to go.
5/19/2017 8:56 AM

I have followed the tracking professor for years..bought the Paris book and he was extremely helpful to my husband and myself with recommendations.
5/19/2017 8:55 AM

Enjoy the small group aspect as well as having some solo travelers.

5/19/2017 8:55 AM

I would have liked to know about purchasing Eiffel Tower tickets in advance online rather than waiting in line when we got there.
5/19/2017 8:49 AM

Loved the small intimate size of our tour. We were able to get into restaurants as one group and had the chance to get to know each other. TP was able to cater to each grout members requests and our travel by a single small vehicle to certain destinations was great. 5 stars to our host guides for our excellent tour

5/19/2017 8:48 AM

I very much enjoyed your small travel book on Paris. We used it extensively during our 2015 visit to France.

5/19/2017 8:44 AM

I am often confused when reading the itineraries and plans - does the group stay together during the entire tour and see sites as a group or are you on your own?

5/19/2017 8:39 AM

I enjoy your newsletter and hope to travel with you some time.

5/19/2017 8:34 AM

Always enjoy the posts despite not being able to join a tour yet.

5/19/2017 8:34 AM

I have just started following your emails and checking out your website. I am seriously intrigued by your content and tour structure.

5/19/2017 8:24 AM

a friend of mine went to Paris with the Traveling Professor and enjoyed it very much
5/19/2017 8:22 AM

We have communicated before Re:Iceland for a small group. Finding it impossible to find dates where ALL can travel.
5/19/2017 8:21 AM

I am interested in TP, but I am into travel more unique places tun what he offers since I have done a lot of traveling.
5/19/2017 8:16 AM

My husband and I have not taken group tours, but some of yours look interesting due to the opportunity to access less-known experiences. For others, a tour might be smarter than independent travel due to the intricacy of planning all of the necessary details. I love researching and discovering these on my own, sometimes with better results than others! Our ideal group tour might include a mix of time with the group and independent time.
5/19/2017 8:14 AM

Hope I win - looking forward to hearing from you
5/19/2017 8:12 AM

I used your guide when we went to Paris. It was very helpful and loved the restaurants you recommended
5/19/2017 8:11 AM
