On my last tour to Europe, I logged quite a few miles on the ground. The difference this time is that my feet did not hurt at the end of the first day, second day, and all the way to the last day of our trip. Take a look at my recommendations for the best travel shoes for women, and the best travel shoes for men. Grab a pair for your next tour to Europe.
Best Travel Shoes for Women: After Linda heard me telling her about what it was like to walk on a cloud, she jumped on the bandwagon and got herself a pair of the best travel shoes for women she has ever worn. Her sense of style is much better than mine and she opted for the any of the Skechers "Breath Easy" line like the Skechers Womens Moneybags Sneaker. They come in 5 colors, are light, and can take a full day in any city on a tour to Europe. In Rome, Linda gives them a "thumbs up" as the best travel shoes for women.
Best Travel Shoes for Men: I purchased the Skechers Performance Go Run 400 for my last tour to Europe. We walked over flat terrain, cobblestone, up and down stairs. My feet felt great at the end of the day. They are extremely light and have a nice cushy feel. I would not recommend them for hiking up Machu Picchu, but for touring the cities of Europe, they are perfect. They are not the most stylish shoes I have ever had, but for me, they are the best travel shoes for men I have ever worn.
