The Traveling Professor departs from Bradley Airport in Hartford, CT to connect in Philadelphia and onward to Munich Germany.  We will return from Venice, Italy.   If you read my blog posts you will know I get great airfares and this trip is no exception.  We fly on American Airlines for $655 per person round trip.

We spend two nights in Munich checking out sites and hotels for our Christmas Market tour in November and December.  We have a day visiting family in Bamberg, a place we have never been to before but it could go on one of our small group tours to Austria and Bavarian Christmas Markets.

Then, we take the high-speed train down to Innsbruck, Austria.  We're excited because we will be guests of the Austrian Tourist Board at the wonderful Adler hotel.  We'll have a good part of our day dedicated to a guided city tour and hotel inspections.  That evening, we attend a Tyrolean Evening Show.  I know I will enjoy my schnizel and apple strudel.   Here are the details:  https://www.tiroler-abend.com/en/tyrolean-evenings/tyrolean-evening.html

After two nights in Innsbruck we take the high speed train down to Vicenza connecting through Verona.  Hopefully we get to meet with our Italy guide Ruben and his wife Debbie.  For those who have traveled to the Veneto region with us, you will remember Ruben as our guide.

Our last two nights are in the small Italian city of Treviso.  We're talking authentic Italy here.  We would love to put this destination on our schedule for those who want to see the REAL Italy.  We head down to Venice on September 1 to fly back to the US.
