I love that Parisian coffee. We are staying at the wonderfully decorated Hotel Chopin, located in the Passageway Jouffrey on Boulevard Montmartre near the Opera.
We started the day off by a walk down Boulvevard Haussman and a bus ride through the city to see the Louvre, Seine, Notre Dame and Luxembourg Gardens. We wound up at the home (now a museum) of the famous sculptor Rodin. After a lunch of Croque Madame and Quiche Lorraine. We then visited Napoleon's Tomb and the World War II museum and a visit to the Eiffel Tower.
Then, we just strolled this wonderful city before returning back to the hotel. Before dinner, on a lark, we walked into Galleries Lafayette department store - wow! It is the grandest and most ornate department store I have seen in years. After dinner we collapsed and slept for about 11 hours.
