Here are some of The Professor's choices for Paris hotels with AC:
Hôtel Saint Pierre. In the 6th arrondissement at 4, rue de l'École de Médecine. 2-star. A true rarity, it is a 2-star hotel with A/C. Management recently spared all expense in renovating one of the best located hotels in the city. Designed for frugal travelers, it is clean, comfortable, and quiet. Give my regards to my friend Mhamed at the front desk when asking for room #5 when reserving. Website: www.saintpierre-hotel.com. Hôtel Résidence Foch. Located on a quiet, residential street away from it all in the 16th arrondissement, this is the place to stay for those looking for a relaxing sleep and good value. The rooms are small but decorated with sophistication and style. I have never stayed in a hotel where the personal attention and service has been better. It is a top value for a 3-star hotel. 10, rue Marbeau. Website: www.foch-paris-hotel.com. Hôtel Muguet. 3 stars. 11, rue Chevert; 7th arrondissement. Close the shades at night or be kept awake by the lights of the Eiffel Tower. If you must stay near the ET, this is the place for about 150-200 euros a night. Website: www.hotelmuguet.com. Hôtel de Fleurie. A charming, romantic, and friendly well situated 3-star hotel off boulevard Saint Germain in the St. Germain des-Près area. I have met people who stay here every time they come to Paris. 32-34, rue Grégoire de Tours. Website: www.fleurie-hotel-paris.com.
