Although we are just in the planning stages to offer a tour to Norway in 2015, let me explain why Norway will be one of the best places to go in 2015.

Natural Beauty:  The unbelievably breathtaking fjords.   I have been to many scenic areas including the national parks of the United States, Hawaii, Peru and other similar places.  I can tell you Norway exceeds them all.   The mountains, waterfalls, landscapes are well worth visiting.  We took a train ride from Flaam to Myrdal that is rated as the most spectacular train ride in the world - and it was!   There are hiking, biking, and walking opportunities.  If you come to Norway with us, make sure to bring a camera with lots of GB on your memory card.

Culture:  Museums like the Munch Museum in Oslo are first-class and on par with some other great European cities.

Food:   Food can be expensive in Norway but it is fresh, healthy and authentic.   I often ate fresh Norwegian salmon, green salads, and wonderful yogurt.  The breakfasts are big and bountiful.

Crowds:  We were in cities like Bergen and Oslo that were squeaky clean, practically absent of graffiti seen in major cities these days.  And where were all the people?  Even though it was peak season in Norway, crowds seemed light.

Hotels:   Hotels are very reasonably priced and more luxurious than any of those in other European cities I visited.

Right now, we are planning to go to Norway in June of 2015.   We think we are planning the best Norway tour for 2015.  If you are interested in going, shoot me an email at info@travelingprofessor.com and I will put you on the list.
