As I mentioned on this tour to Italy the weather has been nothing short of spectacular. I am definitely going to run a small group tour to Italy in April, 2015.
I have visited some of the usual sites in Rome including the Colosseum and Forum. Dinner in the authentic Trastevere section is always a pleasure. We zipped back up to Florence and just strolled around this great town. The Duomo, bathed in night light, is always spectacular.
I think we bit off a bit more than we could chew by doing Padua and Venice in a single day. We were out the door at 8 a.m. and back about 12 hours later - we should have done that over 2 days. But the weather was outstanding. Today was more of a down day, sipping a cafe and enjoying myself.
